Portland, ORA woman was arrested for DUII after she pulled a U-turn and crashed into cops early Saturday morning, police said.
Around 3:20 a.m., 25-year-old Aphinity Marday Jumping Bull was driving west on North Lombard Street near Commercial Avenue with officers right behind her, said a Sgt. with Portland police.
Jumping Bull pulled a U-turn in her 2004 Chevy Impala and slammed into the police car. She then drove off but only made it to North Kerby Avenue before her car broke down, Simpson said.

Kansas City, MOA Kansas City man is dead after a wrong-way crash Friday night on Interstate 70 and Highway 40.
Police said before 11:30 p.m. a Silver Chevy Malibu entered the highway from an exit ramp and was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of I-70.
A semi-trailer truck was traveling east on I-70 and was unable to avoid the car resulting in a collision.
Police said the driver of the car who was impaired by alcohol is in critical condition at an area hospital.
According to police, the passenger, 35-year old Karl Silvey, died at the scene.
The driver of the semi did not suffer any injuries.

Phoenix, AZA vehicle that fled from police collided with a dump truck filled with gravel early Tuesday morning in south Phoenix, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
The crash occurred on 19th Avenue near Interstate 17, but the incident originally started at 15th Avenue and Roeser Road when a driver failed to yield to officers, said Sgt. Steve Martos, a Phoenix police spokesman.
Officers did not pursue the car but later came upon the collision, Martos said.
The driver of the vehicle suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries and was processed for a DUI, Martos said.

Boston, MAA state police trooper was hurt when his stationary cruiser was struck from behind by a woman who has been charged with drunken driving.
A department spokesman says Trooper Mark Lombardi was treated at a hospital and released after being struck at about 10:30 p.m. Monday on the Massachusetts Turnpike in Boston.
His blue lights were on while he protected a maintenance crew performing light pole inspections.
The force of the impact tipped over the woman’s SUV.
Police say 45-year-old Ann Lyn King of Worcester faces a number of charges including operating under the influence.

Los Angeles, CAActor and former "Saturday Night Live" cast member Chris Kattan was booked on suspicion of DUI after a crash early Monday on a SoCal freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The comedian was involved in a crash on the 101 Freeway with a road crew work truck, authorities said. No major injuries were reported after the 2 a.m. crash on the westbound side of the freeway in the Van Nuys area.
The CHP received a 911 call regarding a driver swerving "all over the roadway" at slow speeds before the crash, according to a CHP crash report.

Saturday, February 8, 2014One person was killed in a DUI crash near Martial Cottle Park in San Jose early Sunday morning, a police sergeant said.
Officers responded to a report of a solo vehicle crash on Branham Lane near Snell Avenue at about 3:35 a.m., a San Jose police Sgt. said.
Three people were inside the vehicle and all three were taken to local hospitals following the crash, police said.
One of the passengers died at the hospital.
The name of the victim was not released pending notification of next of kin.

Los Angeles, CASix people were killed, including a family of four, when a wrong-way driver crashed in Los Angeles County early Sunday.
Authorities responded to the crash around 4:40 a.m. on the 60 Freeway in Diamond Bar, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A woman driving a red Camaro, later Identified as Olivia Carolee Culbreath 21, crashed into two other vehicles, officials said. A family of four was killed in the wreck.
Two other people died while being taken to a hospital in Irvine.
Authorities said the woman is in critical condition, and that she may have been intoxicated when she crashed.

San Diego, CAFour people were injured in a suspected DUI crash in Oceanside.
The incident occurred on westbound state Route 76 near Canyon Drive on Friday evening.
A Oceanside police Lt. stated that the driver of a Honda SUV was under the influence when he crashed the vehicle into a freeway sign pole. The driver was hospitalized with minor injuries and was then taken to jail.
Firefighters had to use the Jaws of Life to rescue three passengers from the wreckage. Two women were airlifted to Scripps Memorial Hospital. The third passenger, a man, was taken by ambulance to Palomar Medical Center.

Thursday, February 6, 2014A pedestrian was struck and killed in Pinole on Thursday evening by a suspected drunken driver who also collided head-on with another car, police said Friday.
A Contra Costa County coroner’s deputy identified the pedestrian as 25-year-old Diego Garcia of Pinole.
Police said Garcia was struck and killed while walking on a sidewalk on Appian Way near Marlesta Road at about 6:10 p.m. Thursday.
A 32-year-old El Sobrante woman was driving north on Appian Way when she lost control of her car and crashed head-on into a car in a southbound lane, according to police.
