A Pennsylvania truck driver and his dog died in a crash involving two tractor trailers early Friday morning on Interstate 84. Warren Jefferson, 49, of Bath, Pennsylvania, died when his truck crashed into another tractor trailer sitting in heavy traffic in the eastbound lanes just before exit 11 at 4 a.m. Friday. Jefferson was pronounced dead at the crash site. The other driver, John Krupskas, 65, of Dickson City, Pa., was taken to Danbury Hospital with minor injuries.

Makayla Muir, 18, of Kimberly, drove Toyota off the right shoulder of exit 216 of Interstate 84 near Burley, ID.  Muir overcorrected and rolled the vehicle.  Muir and the front seat passenger Eduardo Encinas, 16, of Jerome, used their seat belts and were not hospitalized.  The four backseat passengers were not wearing seatbelts and were taken to Cassia Regional Medical Center in Burley.

Idaho State Police are investigating a deadly crash in Gooding County. It occured at 6:30 p.m. Saturday night. 76-year-old William McFadden was driving a Ford Ranger on Interstate 84 when his tire blew. He lost control and the vehicle rolled several times. His passenger, 75-year-old Charon McFadden, was ejected and died on the scene. Police say neither person was wearing their seat belt. William McFadden was taken to North Canyon Medical Center in Gooding. No update has been given on the extent of his injuries. William and Charon McFadden were from Milwaukie, Oregon.

A 19-year-old woman was driving on Interstate 84 when a driver nearby made an abrupt lane change, forcing her to slam on her brakes. Her car rolled and she was ejected because she was not wearing a seatbelt. The driver that caused the accident fled the scene. The woman was hospitalized with injuries to the back and a laceration to the head. Authorities are searching for the driver of a dark green 1998 Chevy Prizm with license plate 2C KR837. Anyone with information about the accident or the driver is encouraged to contact the local sheriff's office.

Dittebrandt, a local artist, was named Mosier's 2010 firefighter of the year. Driver fatigue has been identified as a contributing issue. It was daylight at the time of the crash, and traffic was light.

The Utah Highway Patrol has identified a California man who died earlier this week in a crash on Interstate 84 near Snowville. Troopers say Albert Arzaga, 54, of Chula Vista, Calif., was a passenger in a 2013 Chrysler minivan that rolled at 6:16 p.m. Monday. UHP said Arzaga was ejected as the vehicle first went off the westbound shoulder, overcorrected, spun sideways across both lanes and then rolled off the shoulder and landed on its roof. Arzaga was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, near Exit 5 just past Snowville.

A woman who died in a wildlife-caused traffic accident west of Baker City on Interstate 84 Saturday evening has been identified as a 60-year-old from Blackfoot, Idaho.

Tanda Kay Pratt died after being taken to St. Alphonsus Medical Center in Baker City after the crash. Oregon State Police on Monday afternoon released her name and that of three others involved in the crash.

All were riding in the same vehicle when it rolled about 10:38 p.m. Saturday. The incident took place near milepost 294 in Baker County.

A 64-year-old truck driver died after a crash on Interstate 84 in Hood River. Oregon State Police

Authorities have released the name of the truck driver who died in a crash early Friday morning on Interstate 84 in Hood River.

The 2004 Freightliner truck pulling an empty container trailer was heading west on Interstate 84 near milepost 63 when it drifted to the left and hit a guardrail on the south side of the highway.
