Pa. truck driver killed in I-84 accident

The collision caused both of the trucks to spill their cargo onto all three eastbound lanes of the highway, Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire & Rescue Chief Bill Halstead said. One truck was carrying paper products and the other had foam insulation on board.
A Pennsylvania truck driver and his dog died in a crash involving two tractor trailers early Friday morning on Interstate 84. Warren Jefferson, 49, of Bath, Pennsylvania, died when his truck crashed into another tractor trailer sitting in heavy traffic in the eastbound lanes just before exit 11 at 4 a.m. Friday. Jefferson was pronounced dead at the crash site. The other driver, John Krupskas, 65, of Dickson City, Pa., was taken to Danbury Hospital with minor injuries. Jefferson's truck was registered to Penske Truck Leasing Co., and Krupskas' vehicle was registered to Kane Freight Lines Inc., of Taylor, Pa.
