Hinkle was just exiting I-82 and entering I-90 when he allegedly fell asleep and his car departed the roadway on the left, re-entered the roadway, and then veered off to the left a second time before coming to rest off of the roadway. Hinkle was injured and hospitalized from the crash, but no further details were available.
At around 9:00am, Scott was driving east on I-90 when he attempted to change lanes. Because of the icy conditions on the road, he lost control of the vehicle and it rolled over, injuring both him and his passenger Rees. At about 1:00 pm, four vehicles that were westbound on I-90 stopped because of a separate accident on the highway. However, Alan Bradley, 63, failed to stop and rear-ended the rear-most vehicle, causing each vehicle to collided with the one in front of it. Later, another westbound vehicle rear-ended Bradley's vehicle. The only person injured was Lisa Bradley, 62, and she was taken to KVH Hospital, although the hospital had no records of her admittance.

At about 12:30 pm, Hernandez was traveling westbound on I-90 and lost control when she tried to change lanes. Her car then spun and collided with a 2007 Lexus 470 driven by Kandie Baker, 47, of Cle Elum, which caused both cars to depart the road on the right, rollover, and land upside down. Passengers Chasity Gardee, 29 and Antonio Ladesma, 14, injured in 5-car pileup on I-82 just east of Ellensburg, Washington. The accident was caused when Jose A. Reyes Izaguirre, 30 of Tacoma, WA was stopped in the road after hitting the guardrail. Reyes was cited for driving with a suspended license. Other parties involved, Megan Weimer-Wallace, 35, of Richland, Karen Larrea, 64, of Yakima, Jennifer E. Graham, 41 of Yakima, Randi Bonari, 60 of Auburn, and Frederick W. Cox, 45, of Ravensdale were uninjured.
Bus driver Howard K. Mangis was cited for making an unsafe lane change that caused an accident about a mile east of the Snoqualmie Pass summit Friday afternoon. Mangis, 63, of Medical Lake, was driving a 2002 Prevost tour bus west on Interstate 90 when the accident occurred at about 4:20 p.m., when the bus changed lanes, striking a 2002 Lexus which was destroyed after the driver lost control and struck a jersey barrier, the State Patrol said.
Ramon G. Reynoso, 21, of Lapuente, Calif. driving with a suspended license crashed into Paul Boguslawski's pickup Sunday morning when he failed to stop at a stop sign outside Ellensburg. Boguslawski, 43, of Ellensburg was driving south on Cleman Road when Reynoso failed to stop at a stop sign and ran into the passenger side of Boguslawski’s 2003 Ford F-350 pickup. Both vehicles were totaled. Boguslawski’s passenger, 19-year-old Jannese Arreguin of Grandview, was taken to KVH Hospital in Ellensburg. Arreguin was admitted and was in good condition. Boguslawski was not seriously injured.
