A driver killed late Saturday night in a crash in Brady, Butler County, might have been driving drunk, Pennsylvania State Police said. David J. Malesh, 53, of Butler, was driving a Chevrolet Silverado south on Route 528 when he lost control during a turn, went up an embankment and hit a tree shortly before 11:30 p.m., Pennsylvania State Police said in a news release. He was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital, where he died. State police suspect alcohol was involved.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in a deadly head-on crash on the Beeline Highway in the East Valley on Thursday night, an Arizona Department of Public Safety Officer said. The collision happened about 10:10 p.m. when a Ford Mustang appeared to have crossed the center line and hitting an SUV head-on, DPS Officer Eric Lamb said. Lamb said an older man who was a passenger in the Mustang was killed. The passenger and the woman driving the northbound Mustang had to be extricated, Lamb said. There was no condition available on the woman.

Four people were injured, one seriously, Saturday morning in a head-on collision on state Highway 12 caused by an allegedly drunk driver, Santa Rosa police said Saturday. The collision occurred just after 10:30 a.m. on Highway 12 at Melita Road, when an eastbound Ford Mustang crossed the center divider and struck a westbound Nissan Sentra head-on, according to police. The Sentra overturned and landed in the westbound lane with people trapped inside.

A man is in critical condition and a woman is arrested after an early-morning car wreck in Moore, police said. Officers rushed to a neighborhood off North Janeway Avenue and NW 2nd Street a little after 4 a.m. to find a man seriously injured. Police say the man was rolling a tire in the middle of the road when he was hit, and was thrown 200 feet. The victim's friend says he was visiting his girlfriend and helping to fix a car. According to police, alcohol was involved. Police say a female passenger fought with officers and slipped out of her handcuffs. She was arrested on multiple charges.

A man accused of driving drunk and crashing into a Billings police car Tuesday morning made an initial court appearance Wednesday. Brett Allen Jones, 29, appeared in Yellowstone County Justice Court on charges of felony criminal endangerment and a misdemeanor count of DUI, or an alternate misdemeanor charge of operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol level greater than .08 percent. Judge Pedro R. Hernandez set bond at $10,000 and ordered Jones to appeared for arraignment in Yellowstone County District Court on May 2.

Two drivers involved in a two car wreck in Elk Sunday night were believed to be intoxicated. The wreck happened near Madison and Frideger Road. There were five people injured. Two of those people were in critical condition. The deputy added one car had rolled over. Law enforcement was on scene for multiple hours Sunday night.

Troy Durayale Milton, 26, pleaded no contest to two counts of drunken driving causing serious bodily injury as a result of the April 19 crash on Clyde Park Avenue SW. On Tuesday, Nov. 18, Milton was sentenced to between 19 months and five years for the collision and to between one and 20 years for an unrelated charge of delivery of cocaine.

A 28-year-old Grayling man is dead after his car went off the road Saturday morning. Around 2:30 a.m., Muskegon Township officers were called out to South Mill Iron Road just south of Apple Ave. They found a single vehicle that went off the road and crashed. The passenger of the vehicle was out of the vehicle and spoke to emergency responders. The driver of the vehicle, a 28-year-old Grayling man, was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities believe the vehicle was going south on Mill Iron Road when it left the road and struck several trees. Alcohol and spe

The family of a taxi driver killed in a hit-and-run on a local freeway mourns his loss, as investigators work to determine what happened. The California Highway Patrol reported that cab driver, identified by family 42-year-old Anteneh Minassie, was on Interstate 5 heading south between Old Town Avenue and Washington Street when a wrong-way driver came toward him heading north just before 2:30 a.m. Minassie was thrown from his car, but CHP reported he died when he was run over on the interstate by multiple vehicles.

Police in Pine Bluff say the suspected driver in a fatal hit-and-run collision that killed a teenager has been arrested. Police told reporters that 14-year-old Charles Jones was killed Friday night when he was struck while crossing U.S. 79 on the city's south side. Police say witnesses reported that the driver left the scene -- but a car matching the description of the one that struck Jones was later found and the suspected driver arrested early Saturday.
