A fiery crash in South Austin has injured six people.
Austin-Travis County EMS says it happened just after 3 p.m. at Ben White and Banister Lane and involved two vehicles. The Austin Police Department stated that one of the vehicles caught fire after the crash.
Six people were taken to University Medical Center Brackenridge. Two of the victims have serious injuries.
Westbound Ben White and northbound Banister Lane are closed while police investigate.
A woman has died after a three vehicle crash in southeast Austin.
Officials said the crash happened just before 7 p.m. when the driver of a Toyota turned in front of a Ford Explorer, which T-boned the Toyota. A Ford pickup truck was struck by one of the other cars, but DPS troopers are still trying to figure out the details of how that car was involved.

Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services said medics responded to a two-vehicle pin-in collision on FM 973/FM 812 around 5:20 p.m. Thursday.
Officials said a blue Infiniti traveling northbound on FM 812 lost control, then T-boned a Lexus, which was headed southbound.
EMS officials said six people were pinned in.
Three teenagers, all passengers in the Infiniti, were transported by Star Flight to Dell Children's Medical Center. Doctors say they are in serious condition.

Police shut down the roadway at the corner of Ben White Boulevard and the I-35 frontage road early Friday morning. It reopened just before 7:30 a.m.
Officers believe a silver Malibu had a minor collision with a black van just south of the river on I-35. The Malibu then left the highway, heading southbound on the frontage road at a very high rate of speed and slammed into the side of a black Toyota Camry.

The Department of Public Safety says 59-year-old Michael Bonnette died when he ran off the road, hit a guard rail, then a tree.
