Officials said the crash happened just before 7 p.m. when the driver of a Toyota turned in front of a Ford Explorer, which T-boned the Toyota. A Ford pickup truck was struck by one of the other cars, but DPS troopers are still trying to figure out the details of how that car was involved.

Austin-Travis County EMS says a 53-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene in the 7900 block of South U.S. 183, near McKenzie Road, south of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.

EMS also said that two other people were evaulated by medics and refused treatment.
