Honolulu, HIThe horrific crash happened around 8:30 p.m. Saturday on Farrington Highway near the Kahe Power Plant.
A young mother and her toddler were killed along with a third passenger in the car.
Family members say the person who was driving the car is the baby's father. He survived the crash and is recovering in the hospital. Police believe he may have been driving drunk.
There were two adults and two children in the truck all of them survived. The driver has a broken leg but the others no major injuries.

Los Angeles, CAA 19-year-old driver had to be rescued after his car went off a cliff and plunged into the ocean in Palos Verdes.
The incident happened around 2 a.m. Friday on the 1300 block of Paseo del Mar. Responding officers said they could hear someone calling for help, so rescue crews from the fire department were called to the scene.
The 19-year-old male victim was pulled from the car and airlifed to a hospital in Torrance with serious injuries.

Wednesday, December 25, 2013Two teenagers were injured after a car hit the dirt bike they were riding Wednesday in Miramar.
The 13 and 16-year-old boys were traveling southbound on Southwest 66th Terrace and turned left onto Southwest 28th Street when they collided with a white Nissan Altima that was traveling westbound on Southwest 28th Street, according to Miramar Police.
The unidentified female driver stayed on scene and the teens were transported to Memorial Regional Hospital where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries, police said.
The details of the accident are still under investigation.

Las Vegas, NVA 15-year-old boy driving a moped was killed in a hit-and-run crash in the northeast valley Thursday night.
Alex Martinez and a 20-year-old male passenger were traveling west on Meikle Lane about 8:20 p.m. when the accident occurred. They were crossing Ringe Lane, near Nellis and Lake Mead boulevards where they were struck by an unknown vehicle, according to Las Vegas police.
Both Martinez and the passenger on the moped were thrown onto the road. The operator of the vehicle that hit them did not stop or call the police.

Portland, ORA Forest Grove teen pleaded guilty Thursday in connection with the crash that killed two young stepsisters playing in a pile of leaves in October.
Mario Echeverria, 18, was sentenced to 13 months in prison for hindering prosecution after the crash, according to the Washington County District Attorney's office.
Police said he and 18-year-old Cinthya Garcia Cisneros were driving home Oct. 20 when they hit and killed 11-year-old Abigail Robinson and 6-year-old Anna Dieter-Eckert, who were playing in the leaves near their home.

Phoenix, AZPhoenix police are looking for an ATV rider who fled the scene of a fatal dirt bike accident in Phoenix on Tuesday.
The vehicles collided in the desert near the 25,000 block of North 57th Street around 5 p.m.
The rider of the dirt bike, Frisco Davidson-Spurs Yankolovich, 20, was rushed to a local hospital, where he died of his injuries, said a Phoenix Police Sgt.
The rider of the quad stopped and looked at the victim, then left the scene, police said.
Police said there are no signs of the ATV rider.

Salt Lake City, UTA 17-year-old girl was seriously injured Tuesday morning when she collided with the rear end of a school bus on foggy Highway 89/91 in Cache County.
Logan police said the accident report came in at 7:37 a.m. from the area of 800 West and 1700 South.
A girl was driving an Oldsmobile Alero westbound on 800 West and because of dense fog did not see the stop sign at the road’s intersection with the highway. She went into the intersection and collided with the rear of the bus, which was carrying more than a dozen children to Adams Elementary School in Logan, police said.

San Antonio, TXSan Antonio police and fire departments are working a crash involving a vehicle, a school bus and a train at Wetmore Road and MacArthur View, near the Airport.
Reports indicate that a school bus was stopped at a train crossing, waiting for the train to pass, when a teen driving a vehicle went around the school bus, crossed the tracks and was hit by a train.
The school bus was slightly damaged and the teen driver received minor injuries.

Seattle-Tacoma, WATwo teenagers are dead and a man has been arrested after a crash in Port Orchard Monday night that police say started with a game of “leapfrogging.” It happened around 9:45 p.m. near the intersection of Baby Doll Road E and E. Collins Road. The vehicles involved were a pickup truck, driven by a 20-year-old South Kitsap man, and a 1994 Toyota Camry. The Camry was driven by an 18-year-old woman and had two 17-year-old female passengers. Deputies say the car and truck were playing “leapfrog” – a game in which vehicles are constantly passing one another – around an SUV.

Oklahoma City, OKA school bus was involved in an accident with a truck Thursday morning, according to Oklahoma City firefighters. The collision occurred near North Morgan and West Hefner roads, authorities say. There were students on the bus at the time of the crash and firefighters say some suffered minor scrapes, bumps and bruises.
