One person was killed and another injured in a rollover crash near Rupert early Sunday morning.

Idaho State Police say at about 12:40 a.m., 18-year-old Dakota B. Twiss, of Paul, was driving north on 100 East when she missed a curve in the road. The car went onto the shoulder, struck railroad tracks, and flipped over landing upside down on the tracks.

Twiss and her passenger, 18-year-old Mylee Pratt, of Paul, were taken to Minidoka Memorial Hospital, where Twiss was pronounced dead.

Neither of the women were wearing their seat belts, police said.

A rollover crash on Interstate 84 sent at least one person to the hospital Saturday evening.

Idaho State Police say 21-year-old Raelee L. Asson of Meridian was driving westbound on I-84 when she tried to change into a lane occupied by another vehicle. Asson over corrected and crashed into 62-year-old Allen L. Centers.

Centers' 2011 Toyota Four Runner rolled and came to rest on the right shoulder. Centers and his passenger were both taken to the Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.

Everyone involved in the crash was wearing a seat belt.

A rollover crash west of Mountain Home sent five children and two adults to the hospital Saturday afternoon shortly after 5 p.m.

The Elmore County Sheriff's Office reports that a 2004 Ford Excursion was traveling eastbound when for unknown reasons the driver of the vehicle lost control and veered off the right shoulder. The Excursion rolled several times before stopping on it's roof.

One adult passenger was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and was ejected. The other adult passenger had to be extricated.

Four people in their early 20s were injured after a late-night crash on Bogus Basin Road Thursday, according to Idaho State Police.

The crash happened around 11 p.m. on Bogus Basin Road at milepost 11.

Officers say alcohol was a factor.

Idaho State Police say Zachary Thayer, 22, of Boise drove his 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix off the right shoulder of the road, hit a tree, and rolled down the hill.

A 13-year-old girl was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, after she was hit by a car Sunday evening. Police say the crash happened just before 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of West Ustick Road and Jullion Street. Witnesses told police that a car driving on Ustick hit the girl, later identified as Olivia Schnacker, while she was crossing the road on her bike. Police say she was not wearing a helmet and the extent of her injuries is not known. Although there is a pedestrian crossing at that location, police have not said if the girl was in a crosswalk at the time of the crash.

Paramedics and sheriff's deputies responded to an ATV crash about five miles into the Boise foothills Thursday morning. The crash happened just before 7:15 a.m. near the Hulls Gulch area. Authorities say an adult male was riding an ATV on a marked trail when he attempted to drive around a locked gate just off Sunset Peak Road, known by many as the 8th Street extension. The man rolled down a steep embankment and sustained non-life threatening injuries. He was able to call 911 and guide rescuers to his location.

Boise Police are investigating a traffic accident on Fairview Avenue Monday afternoon that left a 5-year-old boy seriously injured.

Witnesses say the boy was riding a bike, and following a 5-year-old girl who had just crossed Fairview on her bike, when he entered the traffic lane and was hit by a large commercial truck.

The accident happened at 3:28 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of Fairview Avenue at North McKinney Lane, just east of Cole Road.

Canyon County Sheriff's deputies responded to a head on crash near the intersection of Highway 55 and Lake Road Sunday morning.

The deadly crash happened just before 10:30 a.m. and involved a Ford truck and a Chevrolet station wagon. The driver of the station wagon, 61-year-old Jean Matthews of Marsing was pronounced dead at the scene. Two adults in the truck were transported to a hospital and are located in critical condition.

The driver of a small SUV has been cited for failure to yield after a collision that injured a motorcyclist Friday morning in Caldwell.

The accident was reported on Franklin Road near Specht Avenue just after 6:30 a.m.

We're told the unidentified driver of the SUV was trying to cross several lanes of traffic and turn into the Sage Travel Plaza when the crash happened.

The motorcyclist reportedly suffered a broken leg and was transported to a local hospital.

Police in Eagle are on the lookout for the female driver of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run accident in downtown Eagle this afternoon. The accident happened around 1 p.m. near Eagle Road and State Street. Police say a four-door white passenger car was in the eastbound lane of State Street and collided with a Honda Accord, and then took off. The driver is said to be a woman in her mid to late 30s, with blonde hair. The driver of the Honda, a woman in her 30s, was injured and transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
