A man from Elkton was hurt in a crash Saturday at approximately 7:15 p.m. when his motorcycle overturned on State Road 207, just west of Interstate 95.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Pablo Silva, 48, was approaching the median turn lane when he applied the brakes but overturned the motorcycle onto its left side.

Silva was taken to Flagler hospital with serious head and chest injuries.

Vermont State Police troopers are investigating a head on-crash on Interstate 89 in Waterbury that seriously injured one of the drivers.

Police say that at about 3:20 a.m. Saturday a vehicle that was headed southbound in the northbound lane collided with a northbound tractor trailer truck.

After the collision the truck crossed the median and came to rest across both southbound lanes.

The driver of the car, later identified as Brian German, 38, was taken to Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington with serious bodily injuries.

A West Hartford man was arrested Sunday night after his 2-year-old child managed to drive his car into parked cars.

Oscar Chicas left his child in his running vehicle alone in the parking lot at 140 Kane Street. According to police, the child then put the car into drive and slammed into two parked cars, causing minor damage.

Chicas was found a few feet away working on a disabled vehicle with his brother at the time, police said.

The child was not injured.

Chicas is charged with risk of injury to a minor. He is being held on a $15,000 bond.

Authorities are investigating after a deadly accident near Clinton, Mo., on Saturday.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the 3-vehicle accident happened on MO-13 around 2 p.m.

The report states a 2007 Mazda M3S, driven by Jennifer N. Reeder, was headed northbound on MO-13 when it crossed the center line, hit a 2003 Toyota Solara, before hitting a 2003 Chevrolet Impala head-on. It then rolled on an embankment.

A newly purchased, $80,000 transport van used by the Veteran’s Administration to transport disabled vets was one of two vehicles totaled in a crash on I-5 Saturday morning.

All southbound lanes were closed at 272nd because of the crash.

Witnesses said the driver of a blue SUV may have tried to pass on the right shoulder at a high rate of speed, causing the collision.

The State Patrol said the driver of the VA van had just dropped someone off prior to the collision. Nobody was seriously hurt in the collision.

Five people were injured in a car crash that happened south of Colorado Springs near Fountain.

A Colorado State Patrol cruiser was among the cars involved but the state trooper was not hurt.

State Troopers warned drivers about the icy conditions and asked them to drive slowly.

A total of 26 people were injured after a driver crashed her pickup into a grocery store.

Metro police say the driver, an elderly female, somehow lost control of her vehicle in the parking lot of Food 4 Less at Eastern and Sahara avenues. The vehicle, which was carrying a camper, crashed into the front of the store. It finally came to a rest all the way in the back near the frozen food aisles.

One person died in a fiery crash on Indian Hills Road early Saturday morning, police said.

Norman police responded to a vehicle that had rolled over in the 8000 block of NE Indian Hills Road at about 2:40 a.m. Saturday. The vehicle was engulfed in flames when officers arrived, police said. Firefighters from the Norman Fire Department put out the fire. Officers found the body of an adult, later identified as Micah James Nix, 40, inside the car.

Multiple cars were involved in a crash along Interstate 25 and Logan Street Saturday morning, killing one person, police said.

Police said in a tweet that the crash, which happened around 11 a.m., involved over 30 vehicles in the northbound lanes and closed I-25.

Denver Health said on Twitter that they received multiple patients from the crash.

During a media briefing at about 12:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon, a chief paramedic at Denver Heath, said 20 individuals had been transported to the hospital plus one fatality.

Rescue units responded to an accident involving a DART train and a vehicle that left one person dead in Fair Park on Saturday morning, say Dallas Fire-Rescue.

DART'S media representative, said the driver of the car was traveling north-bound on 2nd Avenue at Scyene Road. According to the spokesperson, the driver may have ignored the warning lights and bells that sound when the railroad crossing arms come down.
