A 35-year-old man led police on a chase through two cities Monday night in which he broke into three homes, brandished a gun, and demanded cars before crashing in a stolen vehicle and being taken into custody, according to Glendale police. Julio Ivan Tinero-Figuera was not armed when police caught up with him near 47th Avenue and Bethany Home Road, but police said they located a gun in the stolen car Tinero was driving before he got the car stuck and fled on foot, said officer a Glendale police spokeswoman.

The outbound Bishop Ford was shut down following a police chase that apparently ended with an arrest on the highway. A photo posted on Facebook shows officers standing by a squad car and putting a suspect in the back seat. The arrest happened near 115th street. Witnesses report that officers are searching the Pullman neighborhood on foot with dogs, apparently searching for another suspect. The chase was started by Calumet City Police, according to Illinois State Police, after they were notified that the vehicle involved was believed to be stolen in Chicago.

Spartanburg County deputies have arrested a man they said ran away after crashing at the end of a chase in a stolen vehicle. Timothy Robert Harrison is charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, reckless driving, missing or improper displayed tag and a blue light violation, according to the Spartanburg County Detention Center website. Master Deputy Kevin Bobo said the chase began Wednesday night after a deputy ran a tag on a vehicle in a driveway on Burnetts Road in Chesnee.

A teenage driver is in custody after a chase and crash Monday afternoon. Cincinnati police being chasing a stolen sport utility vehicle near the Norwood Lateral shortly after 1 p.m. The chase was fairly low-speed, police said, rarely going over 40 mph. The chase ended when the SUV crashed on Paddock Road just north of the Lateral. The driver fled on foot but was arrested a short distance away, police said. The incident is still under investigation.

A vehicle that fled from police collided with a dump truck filled with gravel early Tuesday morning in south Phoenix, according to the Phoenix Police Department. The crash occurred on 19th Avenue near Interstate 17, but the incident originally started at 15th Avenue and Roeser Road when a driver failed to yield to officers, said Sgt. Steve Martos, a Phoenix police spokesman. Officers did not pursue the car but later came upon the collision, Martos said. The driver of the vehicle suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries and was processed for a DUI, Martos said.

A Kalamazoo man now faces several charges after allegedly leading police on a high-speed chase on the east side of Calhoun County and then crashing. The chase started in the westbound lanes of the highway near 26 Mile Road near Albion around 10:25 a.m. Tuesday, according to a release from Michigan State Police. Troopers chased a 2014 Hyundai that was going faster than 125 mph. The driver of the Hyundai then exited the highway at 22 1/2 Mile Road and headed toward Marshall. The driver continued to speed and passed other cars in a no-passing zone, MSP says. More troopers joined the chase.
