Charleston, SCA school bus had stopped to pick up children and was using its warning lights when a car ran into the back of the bus. Thirteen children were on board, and all of them along with the two drivers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Most of the children were between the ages of 3 and 5. Columbia, SCNine people have been injured, two of which are seriously injured, following a six-car pileup near Alice Drive and Westmark Boulevard in Sumter, South Carolina. It is unknown why the crashes occured, and the incident is being investigated.

Charleston, SCLocal coroner Brittany Martin says Terrill died at the scene of the crash. Terrill was apparently traveling at a high speed.

Charleston, SCThe driver of a motorcycle died after the cycle struck the back of a stopped vehicle on U.S. 78, according to Charleston County. Theodore Terrill, 19, was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident is under investigation, but high speeds appear to be a factor.

Columbia, SCA Manning woman who was involved in a fatal crash Saturday night was charged with felony DUI, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol. The driver of the vehicle, 34-year-old Maurelio Deleon, died and a passenger was transported to a hospital. The passenger's condition is not known. Tammy Brown was first taken to the hospital, then to the Clarendon County Detention Center on two counts felony DUI and for transporting an alcohol container with the seal broken.

Wednesday, January 22, 2014A 32-year-old man was killed in a crash Thursday night.
According to the highway patrol, the crash happened at 9:42 p.m. Thursday in the southbound lane of Interstate 85 at mile marker 102, which is in the Blacksburg city limits.

Troopers say a 2012 Dodge pick-up was traveling at a high rate of speed when it rear-ended a 1995 Mercury, overturned, and landed in the median.
Both of the truck's occupants were ejected from the vehicle. Neither were wearing seat belts according to troopers.
