Police in Niagara County are looking into an accident that killed two people along Porter Road overnight.
Town of Niagara Police say the SUV crashed just after 3 a.m. Saturday morning while going around a curve in the Town of Niagara, south of Packard Road.
The victims are Michael J. Cramer, 43, of Niagara Falls, and Ruth M. Schaller, 35, also of Niagara Falls. They were both pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation according to the Town of Niagara Police Department.
Three members of a Vernon Hills family on spring break in Arizona died last week, when a car being chased by police struck their vehicle on a highway near the Grand Canyon, authorities in Arizona said.
Tomohiro Hirayama, 50, his wife Sachiyo, 42, and their son Yuki, a 16-year-old sophomore at Stevenson High School, died at about 9:03 p.m. March 28 on U.S. Route 160.
The Hirayama’s 9-year-old daughter, Rinka Hirayama, was the lone survivor of the crash, and remains at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, authorities in Arizona said. Rinka attends Half Day School in Lincolnshire.

Samuel Mayo Rinaker Jr. died at the scene of the crash at the intersection of La Jolla Scenic Drive and Soledad Mountain Road shortly after 1 p.m. Friday.
The 57-year-old driver of the 1993 Mercedes-Benz sedan in which Rinaker was riding lost control of the vehicle for unknown reasons while proceeding northbound on La Jolla Scenic Drive, according to San Diego police and the county Medical Examiner's Office.

The driver was interviewed at the scene and released. No charges have been filed at this time.
A portion of Riverside Drive was closed in the area, but traffic was diverted through a shopping center.

Cornerback Chris Culliver of the San Francisco 49ers was arrested Friday in San Jose on hit-and-run and and weapons possession, according to San Jose Police.
A Police spokesman stated that police received a 911 call about the collision at 10:21 a.m. Culliver, driving a White Ford Mustang, hit and injured a bicyclist near the intersection of Tully Road and South 7th St. in San Jose, according to Morales.
Culliver fled the scene, hitting another car in the process and was followed by the driver of the car who was hit, Morales said.

A Hartsville man died Thursday following a tractor crash on Fox Creek Golf Course near Lydia.
Darlington County Coroner J. Todd Hardee identified the victim as Charles R. Tyner, 51 -- a long-time employee of the golf course.
Tyner died when the tractor he was on overturned, Hardee said.
Following an autopsy Friday Hardee said he ruled the death accidental.
A man was critically hurt in a wreck on East End Avenue early Friday, and police spent several hours trying to determine whether a second person was involved.
The Acura that was involved had been going east on East End Avenue at high speed when it crossed the center line and went off the north side of the road, crashed into trees, broke apart and burned, police said.
Police said they were called shortly after 3 a.m. to the crash site At East End and Rowena avenues.
Emergency personnel found the driver nearby.
