Galveston County sheriff's deputies responded to a call of a woman who was pinned between her car door and an ATM. Police say it happened around 7:30 p.m. Saturday. A citizen flagged down a deputy while he was doing a routine check at an area grocery store, according to authorities. Officials say the cause of the incident was that the woman attempted to make a transaction by leaning out of the driver's side door. That's when the car went forward, pulled left and struck the building where the ATM was located.
