Woman critically injured in rollover crash on Interstate 80 in Tooele, Utah

A woman is in critical condition from a rollover accident around 3:00 a.m. Thursday near Tooele. The accident happened at milepost 64, which is 40 miles west of the Tooele Exit. Utah Highway Patrol Troopers say the woman was driving westbound on I-80 when her car went off the road. The woman over corrected and the car rolled over. She was pinned beneath the vehicle. A medical helicopter was sent to the scene. Utah Highway Patrol says no lanes in the area are blocked at this time.

Joseph T. Dusek, 20, dies in crash into Lake Cushman in Mason County, Washington

A 20-year-old Tacoma man was killed when his car crashed into Lake Cushman Wednesday evening and sank. Joseph T. Dusek, died at the crash scene. His car left Staircase Road about 14 miles west of Hoodsport, rolled into the lake and landed upside down. A 19-year-old Lacey man who was a passenger in the car was able to escape.

A driver was killed in a high-speed rollover crash Tuesday in Tukwila. The car was split in two by the impact. The man was ejected and died at the scene.

A teen is dead after a rollover crash in North Fort Worth. It happened in the 1000 block of Diamondback Lane off U.S. 287 early Tuesday morning. Police say a Jeep Cherokee SUV was heading east at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control. The Jeep rolled several times before stopping. The driver of the Jeep, an 18-year-old, was ejected and died at the scene. An 18-year-old passenger was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 

Leonardo Carrizoza, 31, killed in rollover crash on Baseline Road in Phoenix, Arizona

A 29-year-old man is facing charges in his cousin's death following a rollover crash on Baseline Road. The victim, Leonardo Carrizoza, 31, was a passenger in the station wagon that crashed Tuesday morning on Baseline Road near 24th Street.   Phoenix police Sgt. Tommy Thompson said the driver, Marcos Antonio Payan, lost control and the van crossed over the center median and rolled over. The vehicle then crashed into two trees and Carrizoza was thrown from the vehicle, police said. Carrizoza was found unconscious and taken to a hospital, where he died.

A man was taken to St. Joseph hospital with life-threatening injuries after rolling his vehicle at 12:01 p.m. Saturday, April 26 in the median of Interstate 5 in Ferndale. Witnesses told police the man was driving his 1994 Land Rover Range Rover north when he tried to pass on the left shoulder near Portal Way, lost control, and rolled. The injured driver was the only occupant.

Barbara Pierre, 40, killed, Edward Scott, 37, injured, transported to hospital, after their car leaves the Highway 211 roadway near Newport, crashes into a creek and overturns.

A 40-year-old Spokane woman has been killed in a rollover crash on Highway 211 about 12 miles north of Newport. Barbara Pierre died in the crash that sent the 2003 Pontiac Grand Am she was driving into a creek north of Davis Lake around 3 a.m. Friday, according to the Washington State Patrol. The vehicle had been headed south when the driver lost control. It rolled off the east side of the road into the creek. A passenger, 37-year-old Edward Scott of Battle Ground, was sent to Newport Hospital with injuries. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash, the WSP said.

Maryland State Police said they were investigating a fatal accident Wednesday morning in Prince George’s County, as officials throughout the area warned drivers to slow down because of icy road conditions caused when Tuesday night’s snow melted and freezing temperatures made roads slick. The fatal accident occurred around 5 a.m. on the westbound side of Route 214 and St. Michaels Drive in Kettering, where police responded to a report of an overturned 1994 Dodge pick-up truck on the road. The driver, an adult male, was pronounced dead on the scene, police said.

The driver of a vehicle thrown from an interstate overpass in Opelika Friday morning has died, Opelika police confirm. Benjamin Rice, 32, of Lanett, was not wearing his seatbelt as he drove to his job at Auburn University, information from Opelika police and the county coroner suggests. Around 7:50a ct, Rice was driving southbound on Interstate 85 when his 2004 Ford F-150 flipped near the highway's overpass with South Long Street. The vehicle came to rest on the bridge's guardrail.
