A 17-year-old boy was skiing at the Mission Ridge ski area when he lost control and veered off of the ski run. This sent him down an embankment and into a few trees, where he lay until ski patrol took him to the first aid station, before sending him to Central Washington Hospital where he was pronounced dead. We will add the identification of victims as more information is released.

At about 12:50pm, a pickup truck driven by John C. Bates, 63, was stopped on Sunnyside-Mabton Road waiting to turn left onto Penn Avenue, with another pickup truck driven by Ramirez-Hernandez behind him. A third vehicle that was behind both trucks, which was a Toyota Prius driven by Cole G. Gardner, 16, failed to stop in time and rear-ended Ramirez-Hernandez, whose pickup was propelled into Bates'. Three teenagers are dead after a vehicle, driven by a fourth teen who survived, crashed and rolled over in Kitsap County early Sunday morning. The vehicle, a 1996 Toyota Corolla, was found upside down on the side of Seabeck-Holly Road Northwest. The 17-year-old driver had suffered only minor injuries. He was then taken to Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton. After medical treatment he was released, and then police booked him on three counts of vehicular homicide. He is being held in juvenile detention. Wilson said the other victims, one male and two female, were all teens.

Nichole C. Garvin, 20, of Ellensburg, lost control of her car at about 7:35 p.m. 10 miles west of Vantage when her Ford Escort drifted on to the eastbound shoulder. She then overcorrected, struck a rock embankment and rolled 150 feet off of Interstate 90. Garvin was taken to a Kittitas Valley Health facility in Ellensburg and is expected to receive a ticket for driving off the roadway. 5 things to do immediately after a serious accident

It was about 6:25am when Whitis lost control of her vehicle and departed the roadway, her car coming to rest on its roof. She was hurt in the accident, but only with minor injuries, and will be charged by State Patrol with DUI.The things that you need to know about an accident with a drunk driver

It was just before 5:00am when a pickup truck driven by Smartlowit with Malatare and three other teenagers as passengers departed the roadway, hit an embankment, and rolled over before coming to rest in a ditch. All occupants of the vehicle were injured and taken to a hospital, and an unidentified 15-year-old who was in the truck was transferred by helicopter to Oregon Health and Science University hospital.

Granados was first driving east on I-182 when she was attempting to change onto southbound SR 395 but failed to negotiate the curve properly and went through the median onto the northbound lanes of SR 395 before striking on oncoming car driven by Ruiz-Alarcon. Despite the fact that Granados was not wearing a seat belt, both her and Ruiz-Alarcon were ok after the damaging collision. Just before 10:00pm, a 45-year-old man driving on Highway 20 crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a vehicle driven by an 18-year-old man head-on. Both drivers sustained multiple fractures in the collision, but the 45-year-old man was knocked unconsious and had injuries that were considered life-threatening, while the 18-year-old man was conscious but still in serious condition. We will update this accident as more information is released.

A 22-year-old Lake Stevens man was headed west on state Highway 92, also known as the Granite Falls Highway, at around 4 p.m. when he apparently swerved to avoid hitting another car that had stopped to make a left turn. According to police, the man’s car crashed into an oncoming pickup truck at Lake Drive Northeast. The adult male driver of the pickup and his juvenile female passenger were seriously injured and transported to the hospital. The 22-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. We'll update this story as more information becomes available.

At around 3:25pm, Sveen was driving east on State Route 410 when she lost control and veered off the roadway to left across the westbound lane, which caused the car to roll into a ditch and come to rest upside-down. Sveen was injured and taken to the hospital, but has already been treated and released.
