Five hurt in rollover crash near Bingen

A 15-year-old from Goldendale who was also riding in the truck fled the scene.

It was just before 5:00am when a pickup truck driven by Smartlowit with Malatare and three other teenagers as passengers departed the roadway, hit an embankment, and rolled over before coming to rest in a ditch. All occupants of the vehicle were injured and taken to a hospital, and an unidentified 15-year-old who was in the truck was transferred by helicopter to Oregon Health and Science University hospital.
