A man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants after a single-vehicle crash on state Highway 14 Saturday night. Charles Graves, 54, whose residence is unknown, was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Malibu west on the highway when his vehicle crashed and rolled just west of Lieser Road. When the Malibu came to rest, it was partially blocking one of the lanes and responding personnel blocked both westbound lanes of the highway for a brief period of time, Finn said.
A motorist was injured Saturday night in a single-vehicle rollover accident on state Highway 14 in Vancouver. The crash occurred about 9:30 p.m. in the freeway's westbound lanes west of Lieser Road. The freeway was shut down as rescuers and investigators worked at the scene, according to emergency radio traffic. The vehicle had one occupant, who was transported by ambulance to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver.
Investigators believe a fatal car accident discovered in the 25800 block of East River Road near Otis Orchards at 4 p.m. today actually occurred around 7 p.m. Wednesday. A 911 caller reported seeing a car about 150 feet down an embankment on the north side of the Spokane River and what appeared to be a body near the car. It appears that the driver was heading east when the car went down the embankment and rolled multiple times. The woman, later identified as Jordyn Bouquet, 23, was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected.
Two people were killed when their car veered off a Seattle roadway and rolled, police reported. The crash occurred shortly before 3 a.m. today, when a Ford Mustang convertible traveling north on Lakeview Avenue East, lost control and left the road, a Seattle police spokeswoman reported on the department’s website. The Mustang went sideways and hit a fire hydrant, which caused it to roll onto its roof, Witt said. Seattle fire personnel treated the car’s three occupants, pronouncing the driver and a passenger dead at the scene.
A rollover crash on state Highway 14 near Cape Horn injured a Washougal resident late Friday night, according to Washington State Patrol. Steven and Chantell Heupel were traveling west on Highway 14 when the 2000 Subaru Legacy they were in rolled and came to rest on its top after Steven Heupel, who was driving, lost control, according to police. Chantell Heupel, 20, was injured and transported to Peace Health Southwest Medical Center. Steven Heupel, 22, was not injured. Both were wearing seat belts, police said.
A Whatcom County man has been sentenced to almost two years in prison for causing a crash that killed a teenage girl in October on West Badger Road. Twenty-one-year-old Curtis Guerrero-Marquez says he was racing another car when his car flipped and hit a utility pole. Eighteen-year-old Desirae Diamond Garrison-Jones of Lynden was a passenger, she died at the scene. Guerrero-Marquez pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide.

State troopers say a 2005 Dodge Neon was heading north at high speed on Highway 161 just after midnight Thursday when it hit a hill at 238th Street and bottomed out because of the car's low-profile tires. The 17-year-old driver lost control and the car rolled over, crashing on private property. The back seat passenger, later identified as Zachary A. Statezni, 18, of Graham, was ejected from the back seat and slammed into a woman's house. The woman, Lori Jeffries, says she was asleep inside the house at the time of the crash. One person died Wednesday when a vehicle lost control on I-5 in Federal Way about 12:20 p.m. July 31. A Honda Accord was traveling northbound on I-5 to the eastbound State Route 18 ramp. The vehicle lost control and rolled several times. Both occupants were ejected, and the vehicle caught fire. The passenger, Billy Powell Jr., 21, was declared dead. The driver, a 27-year-old female from Shelton, was transported to St. Francis Hospital with injuries.

Four Chehalis residents were injured after a Chevrolet Suburban flipped Friday on Interstate 5 south of Napavine. Michelle Hall-Fontenette, 41, was driving a 1999 Suburban north in the right lane of the interstate at 12:55 p.m. when she changed lanes to the left to avoid hitting another car. The Suburban went onto the rumble strip and into a gravel median, then swerved to the right across the interstate, spinning clockwise into the shoulder. The Suburban flipped onto its top, coming to rest facing south on the northbound shoulder.
