Driver killed, one injured in single car accident on a county road in Osage County, OK. The driver lost control of the vehicle, hit a dirt embankment and rolled the vehicle ejecting the driver. A passenger was transported to the hospital.

Tulsa, OKKitchens was heading south on U.S. Highway 69 in Wagoner County at 7:24 a.m. Friday when he drove off the right side of the road and struck a culvert. Kitchens’ vehicle was launched into the air and turned over twice before landing on its top. Kitchens was ejected from the vehicle and landed 60 feet away. He was sent to Estar Hospital in Muskogee, where he was later pronounced dead from a head injury.

Tulsa, OKA young driver has died in a crash on a rural Osage County road Saturday evening. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has not identified the driver or the juvenile passenger but did say both are from Pawhuska. The passenger was sent to a Tulsa hospital in good condition. Troopers say the pair were driving east on County Road 4301 when they went off the road, hit a dirt embankment and rolled the car an unknown number of times. According to the accident report, neither the driver nor the passenger were wearing a seatbelt and the driver was ejected from the rolling car.

Oklahoma City, OKCary Neal Rogers, a UPS semi-truck driver, was outside of his truck that was parked on the shoulder of the turnpike when a second semi driven by Scott Randall Sims was driving eastbound on the turnpike when for an unknown reason, it veered off the roadway and rear-ended the UPS semi. Both Rogers and Sims were pronounced dead at the scene. Sims was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the wreck and was ejected from his vehicle.

Tulsa, OKA Muskogee man deceased when his dune buggy rolled down a bluff and landed on him. Michael Stimmel, 50 was driving a custom-made dune buggy on a trail near State Highway 10 and County Road Tyler in Muskogee County Saturday afternoon, according to a collision report. Troopers say Stimmel was attempting to drive down a 20- to 30-foot bluff when the vehicle started rolling down the hill, flipping a number of times. Stimmel was ejected, and the dune buggy came to rest on top of him. A 20-year-old passenger, Hulbert resident Seyonah Perryman, refused treatment.

Tulsa, OKA fatal crash occurred Wednesday night in Creek County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports.
Arlie Clint Cates, 49, of Bristow, died from injuries suffered in a crash about 11:45 p.m. on State Highway 66 just west of W 271 Street, the patrol reports.
Cates died in a Sapulpa hospital after the crash.
Passenger Davied Van Orsdol, 49, of Bristow, was taken to a Tulsa hospital where he was treated for a back injury. Seat belts were not in use.
Cates was driving east on SH 66 when he drove off the roadway. Cates and Orsdol were ejected.

Oklahoma City, OKA person was killed in a crash on Interstate 40 in Seminole County early Wednesday, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported. The name of the driver had not been released Wednesday evening. The crash happened about 2 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of I-40 at mile marker 198 about 9 miles north of Seminole, the patrol reported. The driver was ejected and the car caught fire. It is not known if the driver wore a seat belt.

Brian Rogers, 41, was killed about 2:20 a.m. on State Highway 88 at Country Ridge Lane. Rogers was driving north when he drove off the roadway and overturned. He did not wear a seat belt and was ejected. Rogers was dead at the scene.
