Brett Caughlan dies from injuries suffered in a car crash on Route 22.

A Greensburg man died at a Monroeville hospital after a vehicle crash Sunday in Westmoreland County, the Allegheny County medical examiner's office said this morning.

Brett Caughlan, 21, was taken to Forbes Regional Hospital, where he died, a supervisor from that office said.

The crash happened shortly after 6:45 p.m. on Route 22 in Murrysville and involved a PennDOT truck, the supervisor said. Murrysville police could not immediately be reached for more information.
