Two people from one vehicle were ejected. One person was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The other died at the hospital.

Police said a sports car was heading west on Oakey when it was struck by a luxury car traveling south on Jones. The impact carried both vehicles onto the sidewalk on the southwest corner of the intersection, and both vehicles struck light poles, police said.
