The child is not a boy.. it is a girl..

Why wasn't she wearing a life vest? Plus a 9 yr old child doesn't need to be in an open boat at 3:00 AM. She should have been in bed sleeping. The family has my condolences, but this never should have happened. It could have been prevented by using common sense.

Yes my beautiful grand baby had on a life jacket, we don't know if it was lost at impact or later. We are avid fishing people, she demanded to go, if you don't understand, that's ok my son grew up on a lake and had his own boat at 12. Just pray and be nice during this hard time.

I'm very sorry for your loss. It is unfortunate people tend to place blame around a tragedy instead of simply placing their arms around those affected.
