A man driving a BMW was heading westbound and lost control, veering into the eastbound lanes of Colonial Drive, troopers said.
The driver plowed head-on into a woman driving a pickup truck.
Troopers said the drivers of both vehicles were trapped inside and were pronounced dead at the scene.
