Police: Mother, 24, dies in one-car crash in St. Albans
Roy was not wearing a seat belt when her white 2011 Chevrolet Cruze went off Palmyra Road and hit a tree, according to Chief Deputy Mike Mitchell of the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office.

Roy died at the scene, while her 3-year-old son, who was in the back seat, survived. He was taken to Northern Light Sebasticook Valley Hospital in Pittsfield, where he was treated for minor injuries, the newspaper reported.
