One Dead, Three Condition Unknown in I-57 Crash

€“ Illinois State Police report an Indiana woman is dead, and three other passengers were transported to Carle Hospital after a single vehicle fatal crash on northbound I-57 on August 28. The three other occupants of the vehicle were transported to Carle Hospital. Authorities say their preliminary investigation reveals a silver 2002 Mercury Mountaineer was traveling on I-57 North near mile post 249, at around 12:15 PM, when it left the roadway for unknown reasons. The 29-year-old was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead on the scene. Four occupants were inside the vehicle: a 30-year-old male, a 31-year-old male, a 33-year-old female and a 29-year-old female.

All i can say is how very sorry i am that this unfortunate accident occurred an how deeply sorry i am that your motger was taken from tou both, i am extremely upset that the events of thst day unfolded the way thst they did an that i will always feel guilty for being behind the wheel that day... The events of this day will haunt me the rest if my life an again i am deeply sorry for tour lose

Hey, I get it... Things happen. But I can't forgive you for being the one who crashed it. She will forever be missed by all me and Autumn. I'm 14 now. I have a hell of a good life to live. But her not being here with me to go through it is heartbreaking. But thank you Scott.
