Xavier Ware, 25, killed, after his SUV leaves the westbound I-240 roadway Memphis, and crashes into a guardrail and a utility pole before overturning.

A 25-year-old man was killed when his car left the interstate early Friday morning, police said.

Just after 3 a.m., Xavier Ware was heading westbound on Interstate 240 west of Jackson when his 2000 Jeep Cherokee veered off the roadway. The Cherokee then struck a guardrail before continuing on and hitting a utility pole. The Cherokee then rolled over, police said.

Paramedics pronounced Ware dead at the scene.
