Andrew was my fiance. He was the best man I ever knew. He loved his family, his son and me and my family. I miss him more than anyone will ever understand. He died doing what he loved...that is some comfort but nothing will take the pain away.

This was my friends dad... and its hard to believe someone I've met has had such an impact on my life. How we can miss someone we've never met or even heard about is beyond me. But i feel as if i do know Norman Andrew Lecroy after this. Well at least I know what my friend knows about his father. My friend loved his father and now he's just... gone. My friend didnt know this was gonna happen and neither did Norman, but i would say now they both know to love and cherish what you have before its gone.
