Two men have died and another is fighting for his life following a Bedford County crash early Monday.

Two men have died and another is fighting for his life following a Bedford County crash early Monday.

Authorities say all of the victims had been drinking, and charges are now pending in the investigation.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol said the three men were heading east on State Highway 82 in Bell Buckle when their van left the road on a sharp curve and crashed into some trees.

Ronald Neely Jr., 27, of Sparta, and Donald Lazas III, 25, of Brentwood, were both pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver, Wesley Luthringer, 28, of Soddy Daisy, TN, was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment, where officials say he is on life support.

THP investigators say speed was a factor in the crash.
