Jennifer N. Reeder, 19, Erin L. Hook, 20, Paul W. Stankus, 49, killed, after a 3-car crash on northbound MO-13 near Clinton.

Authorities are investigating after a deadly accident near Clinton, Mo., on Saturday.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the 3-vehicle accident happened on MO-13 around 2 p.m.

The report states a 2007 Mazda M3S, driven by Jennifer N. Reeder, was headed northbound on MO-13 when it crossed the center line, hit a 2003 Toyota Solara, before hitting a 2003 Chevrolet Impala head-on. It then rolled on an embankment.

Reeder, 19, of Springfield, Mo., along with passenger Erin L. Hook, 20, of St. Joseph, Mo., were killed in the accident. The driver of the Impala, Paul W. Stankus, 49, of Clinton, Mo. was also killed.

The driver of the Toyota Solara was uninjured.

Hook was wearing a seat belt, however Reeder and Stankus were not, according to the report.

The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation.
