One Dead in Potomac Motorcycle Crash(link is external)

According to Pete Piringer with Montgomery County Fire and Rescue, the crash was reported just after 4 p.m. on River Road near Travilah Road.

Police identify motorcyclist struck and killed by SUV in Potomac(link is external)

While the crash remained under investigation, officers believe the SUV struck the motorcycle while making a left turn at the intersection.
The motorcyclist initially had life-threatening injuries but was later pronounced dead.

There should be a traffic light there as the left turn on to river road becomes very difficult at times .

Unfortunately, some people don't pay attention while driving. It's a national epidemic. If you did't notice someone coming directly on the same street as you, you shouldn't be driving.
