Boy Critically Injured In Hit-And-Run, Driver Caught

The boy was riding his bicycle when he was hit by a pickup at North 48th and Vine streets around 7:15 a.m. The driver kept going, but was later found and taken into custody. The truck was located near South 44th and F streets with the bicycle still wedged underneath.
The boy was in critical but stable condition after being brought to the hospital. Alcohol is believed to be a factor.
