Travis Jon Mahaffey, of Minot, N.D., died at North Memorial Medical Center at 4:40 a.m. Saturday, according to the Hennepin County medical examiner.
A 23-year-old man, Travis J. Mahaffey, was killed when his ATV crashed in rural Sherburne County. The accident happened shortly before 12:30 a.m. Saturday on County Road 43 at 176th Street in Big Lake Township. He was taken to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale after the crash and died about 4 hours later. Authorities have not given information about the circumstances that led to Mahaffey’s death.
