Thoughts & prayers with the family...

James was the kind of guy that became your friend as soon as you met him. I met James only a few months ago when i called about a house he had listed, and after our meeting i knew i didnt just want to buy the house from him but that i had just met someone that was special.  Though we never had an opportunity to go out and have drinks as friends nor did i know him long enough to build any memories with but i consider him a friend because thats how he made you feel. Even after our realestate transaction was finished, which is when most people say forever say goodbye to their realtor, i couldnt bring myself to completely cut ties with james and so we would call, text or email little jokes and one liners to one another on occassion. And upon moving into the home he sold me i found that most of my new neighborhood and most of my block also new james as either a long time friend or the guy who sold them their homes, And all felt the just the same as me or had even deeper friendships with him that went back years, some even went back to grade school, showing the kind of guy he was to still have friends in adulthood that go back as far as grade school,. My family will forever be connected to james because he saw how badly we wanted our new home on that first appointment and he saw how happy my 6 year old son was to see so many other children in the neighborhood and how excited he was to see the pool right across the street, after seeing all of this james told us that he really hopes we get this house and then went on to make our dream come true, forever connecting him to my family. I will also remeber how strange, though even for a short time before this tragedy, it was that i never stopped communicating with my realtor after closing but feeling very comfortable doing do because i as said he made everyone around him a friend. God bless you and may you rest in piece and god bless the family that survives you and may they also eventually somehow be able to find piece in their loss, and to that family i say thank you for giving the world a truly decent person and know that to my family, and im sure many other families as well, he wasnt just the realtor that sold us a house but he helped us to accomplish a dream and made some new friends to add to the extraordinary amount he already had.

My prayers are with the families of James and Amy
