On Saturday evening, a tragic single-vehicle accident claimed the life of a lone driver on the interchange ramp connecting westbound I-469 to northbound I-69 in Allen County, Indiana. Emergency services were alerted just after 6:30 p.m.

Northbound lanes of Interstate 469 were back open between Maplecrest and State Road 37 Thursday morning following a crash that involved as many as five vehicles.

Motorists had been asked to avoid the area as all lanes were closed. There were no serious injuries reported.
