John Young Parkway

A pedestrian was killed while crossing John Young Parkway Monday night, according to police. Dale Ippolito, 51, was attempting to cross the street without utilizing a crosswalk or intersection when he was struck by a vehicle heading southbound on the interstate.

Police say a driver who sped away from an officer died in a crash minutes later on Orlando's John Young Parkway.
