Lyons Avenue

Police are looking for the driver responsible for a fatal hit-and-run accident in northeast Houston. Police say a 41-year-old woman was hit by a vehicle just after 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the 4500 block of Lyons. The victim was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where she died.

Rescue crews are on the scene in Irvington, New Jersey where a car has crashed into a Pathmark supermarket.

At least three people were injured in the accident that took place on Lyons Avenue.

The condition of the driver was not immediately clear.
