Morrisville Carpenter Road and Chapel Hill Road

Two people from Southern Pines were killed Friday night when a freight train collided with a vehicle in Morrisville. The crash happened at the railroad crossing at Morrisville Carpenter Road and Chapel Hill Road. The vehicle was trying to make a right hand turn onto Morrisville Carpenter Road.
