Man with sticker about racing police called an 'idiot' after police apprehend him in chase

There are maybe two appropriate reasons to have a sticker that says "Sorry Officer I Thought You Wanted A Race" on your car:

1) You are extremely law-abiding and it's ironic.
2) You are legitimately impossible to beat in a race.

But unfortunately for a man in Durham, England, this sticker seemed like a good idea for reasons that are not either of the above. So when he crashed his car after being pursued by UK police, they sent out this tweet:
