Franklin County Jail information(link is external)

 The Corrections Division is managed by a Captain with 1 Lieutenant, 4 Sergeants, 4 Corporals, 23 Corrections Officers, 4 Records clerks, 2 cooks. The current jail opened in 1986 with a capacity of 102 beds. Jail has been modified to 156 beds by double bunking every cell that could be double bunked. They have added a small building onto the jail for work release, which has 38 beds. The daily average population of the jail is 196.

The Mission Statement of the Franklin County Sheriff is to serve the public, safeguarding lives and property; to protect against deception, intimidation, disorder and violence; to treat the people with respect and dignity; to accept the duties and responsibilities required by law and to serve faithfully and honestly; to investigate diligently those crimes and activities which violate the law or ordinance; and to utilize professional and cost effective implementation of standards and techniques of law enforcement. The Sheriff's department has a $7,688,519.00 operations budget (2012) and 5 Operational Divisions with 88 employees.

Douglas/Chelan Counties Regional Jail(link is external)

The Chelan County Regional Justice Center is a 383-bed adult correctional facility, located in the city of Wenatchee that serves a population of over 94,000 people and encompasses a geographical area of over 5000 square miles. Satellite buildings include a 42-bed minimum security facility and a 66-bed direct supervision minimum security facility that houses Work Release and Volunteer Inmate Worker participants. Jail staff facilitates court appearances for inmates scheduled for Chelan and Douglas County Superior and District courts.

Douglas County Washington contains 1820 square miles with a population of approximately 32,600 people.  The Sheriff's office employs 27 commissioned and 7 non-commissioned personnel. Their department is dedicated to providing effective and efficient law enforcement services; protecting the lives and property of the citizens of Douglas County; and ensuring the protection of all persons constitutional rights. The Sheriff is the chief executive officer and conservator of the peace of the county as directed under RCW 36.28.

Their goal is to provide cost effective services while maintaining safety for the community, staff, and offenders.

Clallam County Jail(link is external)

The Clallam County Corrections Facility was built in 1978 – 1979 and opened in 1980. Originally designed to house 72 inmates with a special detention unit, the Jail now operates with a bed capacity of 120, and the special detention unit (SDU) has been remodeled to include a chain gang/inmate worker housing unit.

The Benton County Jail is located at 7122 W. Okanogan Place (Building B) in Kennewick, Washington.  The jail services all law enforcement agencies in Benton County as well as outside agencies on a contractual basis.  It houses an average daily population of 600 inmates with capacity for over 800 inmates.
