Now, please gaze in horror at the speed at which the flood waters rise in this video captured this week in Texas (there's a bit of strong language from the terrified onlooker filming, so turn the volume down if you have delicate ears). I'm not sure what the circumstances surrounding this video were, but I think it's safe to assume that this wasn't intentional, and it's a good lesson in understanding where the "flash" in "flash flood" comes from.
