Jonirai Wiggins, 23, killed, after her car veers into oncoming traffic on Alabama 150 in Bessemer, and collides with a pickup.

Authorities on Tuesday released the identity of a woman killed in a crash in Bessemer.

The Jefferson County Coroner's Office identified the victim as Jonirai Wiggins, 23. Wiggins was killed Monday morning on Alabama 150.

The accident happened just after 10 a.m. Authorities said Wiggins was driving her 2008 Nissan Altima eastbound when she lost control of her car and veered into oncoming traffic in the westbound lane.

She collided with a pickup truck, and was pronounced dead on the scene at 10:20 a.m. The truck driver was not seriously injured.

The crash happened between Nelson Drive and Old Highway 150.
