Birmingham police say a minivan flipped over after colliding with another vehicle. One side of the van was completely smashed and the roof caved in.
Woman killed, husband and 3 children injured in Birmingham interstate crash
A Northport woman was killed, and her family injured in a two-car crash Sunday evening on a Birmingham interstate. The Jefferson County Coroner's Office today identified the victim as Stacy Woods, 38. The crash happened about 5:15 p.m. on Interstate 20/59 near the Arkadelphia exit.
Police say there were two adults and three children in the minivan; all of them were transported to the hospital. The driver of the other vehicle was also injured and also taken to the hospital.
