Multi-vehicle wreck causes backups on Highway 280

Traffic was backed up Tuesday night after at least three vehicles crashed on Highway 280, officials said. One vehicle overturned around 6 p.m. in the eastbound lanes just past Grandview Medical Center and in front of Logan's, Birmingham police said. Emergency crews were still at the scene at 8 p.m. Cars were backed up about 2-3 miles. The conditions of the people involved in the crash were not released.
