4 confirmed dead in Blount County airplane crash
Blount County 911 received the report of a plane crash at 2:33 p.m. The plane was believed to have went down off Alabama 160 and Cox Cove Road near the Dollar General in Hayden, Blount County 911 executive director Caleb Branch said.
Four dead following plane crash in Blount County
A Birmingham tower reported the plane going down near Highway 160 and Cullwell Road around 2:30-3:00 p.m.
The victims were found near Bear Cullwell Road along with fuselage debris. The victims have not been identified.
UPDATE: 2 teens, 2 adults killed in Blount Co. plane crash
They have not been identified but Kyle Ellison, Assistant Fire Chief at the West Blount Fire Department, described the deceased as a 14-year-old girl, a 16-year-old boy, a 45-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman.

The family was returning from spring break in Florida when the plane went down.
