Natalie Pierre Williams, 26, in critical condition after her car hopped a curb, crashed into a tree, and burst into flames at The Park at Galleria in Hoover, Alabama

Alabama Media Group sports reporter Natalie Pierre Williams was seriously injured after a fiery car crash early this morning near her Hoover apartment. Chasten Williams received burns to his forearm, but was not admitted. Williams and her husband, Chasten Williams, were returning to their apartment from another complex to which they were getting ready to move when William's car jumped a curb and struck a tree in the apartment complex and burst into flames. Williams, who turned 26 today, is listed in critical condition in the Trauma and Burn Intensive Care Unit at UAB Hospital. Williams' husband told police that after the crash he walked away from the crash scene to the apartment and when he returned within five minutes, the car was on fire.
