It is not clear who was driving the vehicle, Brown said.
Patrick Brown, 41, of Weaver, and Deborah Gail Robinson, 36, of Jacksonville, were traveling in a Nissan Sentra on Max Wellborn Road near Alabama 21 near Piedmont when the car overturned traveling through a sharp turn, then flipped and landed on the other side of an embankment. Brown was pronounced dead at the scene. Robinson was thrown from the vehicle and was transported to UAB Hospital.
