2 men dead following fatal wreck on Highway 79 near Pinson
Two men were pronounced dead at the scene of a wreck on Alabama 79 at Westchester Drive on Thursday, Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said.
Sgt. Jack Self said an SUV was traveling north on the highway when it collided into a car at the intersection at about 5:45 p.m.The two victims in the car suffered critical injuries and died at the scene.
