UA student, 23, killed in Tuscaloosa SUV crash

A 23-year-old University of Alabama student from Trussville was killed in a crash early Saturday morning in Tuscaloosa. Tuscaloosa police responded to the crash site on I-359 Southbound at I-20/59 around 1 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19. The SUV Virgona was riding in crashed into a guardrail on I-359 Southbound at I-20/59. The driver, a 22-year-old man, was taken to DCH for treatment of his injuries. Police have not released any information about his condition.
