Cyclist sustains life-threatening injuries after being hit by car

A man riding a bicycle was rushed to the hospital Thursday afternoon, after being hit by a car near the intersection of Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard and Radcliff Avenue. 
A man was riding a bicycle on Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard at Radcliff Avenue when he was hit by a car. He was rushed to Midtown Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. The driver stayed at the scene after the accident. Some of the surrounding roads were closed after the wreck.
