Troopers: Pedestrian killed in Houston Co. Crash

A single-vehicle crash Monday has claimed the life of a pedestrian, according to Alabama State Troopers.

58-year-old Wilbert Strozier, of Ashford, was killed when he was struck by a 2003 Chevy Silverado. The accident occurred around 7:05 a.m. along Lucy Grady Road just outside Dothan city limits. Stozier was taken to Southeast Alabama Medical Center where he later died. The driver of the vehicle, a Cottonwood teenager, was uninjured in the crash.
